Bluegrass Barbell teaches people how to properly execute the squat, bench, and deadlift. Powerlifting competitions allow an athlete to compete in one, two or all three of the lifts.
We believe proper technique is not only for the top athletes but for beginner and intermediate athletes as well. Preforming movements safely and efficiently sets a person up for a lifetime of success.
Our training programs help not only improve your technique but to help prevent injury. We focus on overall strength development of the three main lifts, needed accessory work to target deficits and limitations, and technique and mobility work to stay healthy and perform our best!
Interaction between the athlete and coach is of the utmost importance. Staying in touch and on the same page, whether training in person or remote is how you progress consistently.
